Procedure to Open a Company in Sharjah

  1. Select a name for your company. The name must not match the company name of any existing company in the Emirates.
  2. File for a company registration by filling out a form and submitting it to the Sharjah Department of Economic Development (SEDD).
  3. Draft a Memorandum of Association for the company.
  4. Apply for a trade license.
  5. File for an establishment card with the Ministry of Labour.
  6. Register the employees with the Ministry of Labour.

This process will take not more than 4-5 weeks to complete.
