Phase 2 Work Starts For Dubai Autodrome Business Park

Union Properties, a leading property developer company in the UAE and the master developer of MotorCity and many such properties, announced the expansion of Dubai Autodrome Business Park in Dubai MotorCity, recording a total investment of about AED 25.5 million.

The second phase work has commenced for a purpose-built facility for racing teams and other motorsport related businesses.  The second phase has already secured 100%  bookings ahead of construction and is scheduled for completion in February 2020, the developer mentioned in a public statement.

The second phase spreads over an area of 33,900 square feet, located next to the existing phase 1, close to 5.39km race circuit at Dubai Autodrome. The first phase consists of 54,000 square feet area with 12 unique units catering to automotive, motorsports and racing related-businesses.

The marketing and communications director of Union Properties, Ahmad Ibrahim said in the announcement that as a part of their development plans for the MotorCity phase 2, they are proudly announcing that work on the expansion of the Dubai Autodrome Business Park has commenced.

He added they had seen substantial interest during the launch of the first phase and the second phase of the project will be a continuation of the firm’s successful destination-led strategy that has already secured a 100% booking of all the units.

Phase one of this project is home to significant car racing brands like Lamborghini Trofeo and Porsche, among many others.

The general manager of Dubai Autodrome, Faisal Al Sahlawi said the Dubai Autodrome’s vision is to continually support the motorsport industry in the UAE region, this project showcases their commitment to bringing to market relevant services and products that answer a strong need within the ecosystem. The expansion efforts are propelled by keen market demand for their products and the undeniable success of phase 1 of the Business Park.
